The Worldwide Church
The same teaching that we bring to the church in the US, we bring with us around the world. God has opened unique doors for us in Kenya, and we are excited to partner with ministries there.
HOW DO WE VIEW MISSIONS?
- As Jesus walked, He demonstrated care for the whole person. He had compassion on the physical hunger of people who had come out to be fed spiritually by His teaching. He healed sickness, delivered the oppressed, and defended those who had been looked down on their whole lives. He set a model of missional living to minister not only to the spiritual need, but to the physical and emotional need as well, reconciling the whole person to the Father.
- Likewise, Trim the Wick believes that missions involves feeding the hungry, healing the physically sick and emotionally wounded, and bringing spiritual light to those walking in darkness.
HOW DO WE DO WHAT WE BELIEVE?
In addition to leading the same kinds of teaching, training, and counseling events that we provide in the United States, Trim the Wick has partnered in two regions in Kenya with ministries that reach out to the physical, educational, and spiritual needs in their communities.
